Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.90%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Griptha Putra Persada Tbk PT (JK:GRPH), which rose 34.33% or 23.00 points to trade at 90.00 at the close. Meanwhile, PT Royaltama Mulia Kontraktorindo Tbk (JK:RMKO) added 34.29% or 36.00 points to end at 141.00 and PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk (JK:MKTR) was up 34.26% or 37.00 points to 145.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mitra International Resources (JK:MIRA), which fell 9.88% or 8.00 points to trade at 73.00 at the close. Prima Cakrawala Abadi PT (JK:PCAR) declined 9.76% or 4.00 points to end at 37.00 and Danasupra Erapacific Tbk (JK:DEFI) was down 9.70% or 46.00 points to 428.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 596 to 137 and 106 ended unchanged.
Shares in Griptha Putra Persada Tbk PT (JK:GRPH) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 34.33% or 23.00 to 90.00. Shares in PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk (JK:MKTR) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 34.26% or 37.00 to 145.00. Shares in Danasupra Erapacific Tbk (JK:DEFI) fell to 5-year lows; down 9.70% or 46.00 to 428.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.28% or 1.46 to $65.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.17% or 0.80 to hit $68.95 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.87% or 30.50 to trade at $3,546.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.00% to 16,389.30, while AUD/IDR fell 0.70% to 10,676.41.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.55% at 98.23.
